The company claims that this engine is at par with any regular 125 cc commuter bike in terms of performance. This means that there is enough power and ride quality for everyday use.

The biggest feature of Bajaj Freedom is its CNG mode. The company claims that this bike gives a range of up to 102 km in 1 kg of CNG. At the same time, this mileage is 67 km per liter in petrol mode. Overall, with a full tank of CNG (2 kg) and 2 liters of petrol, this bike can give a range of about 330 km. CNG is a much cheaper fuel than petrol, so the cost of running Bajaj Freedom will be much less. Also, the company claims that despite the CNG cylinder mounted under the seat, the Freedom 125 has the longest seat in the segment. The Bajaj Freedom is available in three variants – NG04 Drum, NG04 Drum LED and NG04 Disc LED. Their starting price is ₹ 95,000, ₹ 1,05 lakh and ₹ 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. This price falls within the range of 125 cc commuter motorcycles. However, it is important to note that the CNG cylinder is 125 cc.
