BMW CE 04: German luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW CE 04 is ready to make a splash in the Indian market, this time in the electric scooter segment of two-wheelers. The company is going to launch its latest electric scooter, BMW CE 04, on July 24. This scooter not only offers strong performance and a unique design in the world of electric scooters, but it is also a great option for everyday urban rides.
Design
BMW CE 04 will look like a vehicle of the future at first glance. A large apron and flat body panels around it make it quite attractive. The 780 mm high seat is comfortable for two people to sit and its long wheelbase gives it a muscular look. The scooter has a steel double loop frame, with a single-bridge telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. Both tyres have 15-inch alloy wheels and 265 mm disc brakes with ABS have been provided on both sides, which is very good from the safety point of view.
Performance of BMW CE 04
The BMW CE 04 is not only strong in appearance, but its performance is also very good. The scooter has a 15kW power permanent magnet, liquid-cooled synchronous electric motor, which generates 41bhp power and 61Nm torque. The company claims that it can cover a distance of 130 km on a single full charge. At the same time, it takes about four hours to be fully charged. This scooter is not behind in terms of speed either. It accelerates from 0 to 50 kmph in just 2.6 seconds and its top speed is 120 kmph.
Features of BMW CE 04
The BMW CE 04 is a premium scooter and that is why many modern features have also been included in it, it gets a 10.25-inch TFT full-digital instrument cluster, which displays important information to the rider. Also, it also has smartphone connectivity. The scooter has three riding modes – Eco, Road and Rain, which you can choose according to the riding conditions. Apart from this, it also has features like full LED headlights, digital key and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Launch and price of BMW CE 04 in India
As we told, BMW CE 04 will be launched in India on 24 July 2024. At present its official price has not been announced, but it is estimated that it can be launched at a starting price of around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
