The UAE offers excellent opportunities for both personal and professional growth. Its strategic position, luxurious lifestyle, and strong economy are just a few of the benefits of studying there. According to Khaleej Times Over 600 programs are currently offered by 34 international higher education institutions in Dubai, with 28% of students—or one in every four—coming from nations other than the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai’s international higher education institutions have over 29,000 students enrolled in their university programs, with an annual enrollment rise of 3.6%. But occasionally, schooling in the United Arab Emirates can be expensive. Fortunately, there are numerous scholarships available to foreign students studying in the United Arab Emirates, some of which are mentioned here.

Scholarship for the President of Khalifa University. 

The President’s Scholarship, an extremely competitive program at Khalifa University, allows excellent overseas students to pursue graduate and undergraduate degrees. The program’s objective is to develop future leaders who will uphold the economy and progress of the UAE.

Qualifications and Fees

International students from outside the United Arab Emirates must have competitive scores, depending on the high school curriculum they are applying from (i.e., SATs, APs, IGSCEs, IB Curriculum, or any other international curriculum).

Scholarships are extremely competitive, therefore meeting the basic requirements does not ensure that you will be awarded one, even in the rare cases where opportunities arise.

There isn’t a separate application to apply for scholarships at Khalifa University. Your admissions application data will be used to determine if you qualify for a scholarship.

Students at Khalifa University must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above in order to be eligible for the President’s Scholarship.

Higher Colleges of Technology Awards and recognition

A continuing full-time postgraduate student (Ph.D.) is eligible for a 15% tuition fee discount for the next regular semester in which they would enroll if they achieved a minimum GPA of 3.70 out of 4.00 in a particular semester with a minimum academic load of 9 C/Hrs.

By rewarding the students for their hard work and dedication to their studies, these prizes inspire them to strive for excellence. Here is a summary of a few of the awards. Chancellor’s Honors given to students who have made the biggest contributions to college life over their last academic year while keeping a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher each semester.

List of Students gain Directors award who are in excellent standing and are on the Directors List at the relevant universities. To be on the list, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

 

Rashid Award Graduates with Distinction with Honors from any program may also be eligible for the Rashid Award and the related recognition, subject to the criteria set by the Rashid Awards Committee. Sector Honors Some businesses provide multiple incentives to graduates of their exceptional programs. Model Student of the Month Award Given to students for accomplishments outside of the classroom, such as acts of civility, overcoming hardship, and volunteerism at all colleges in the community.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University Tuition Remission For Outstanding Learners

This program, which covers a commendable portion of the upcoming semester’s tuition, attempts to reward and encourage students who achieve academic accomplishment.

Qualifications and Fees

All newly accepted undergraduate students who have completed their high school education and have obtained a minimum grade point average of 90% are eligible for a tuition remission of 20% of the program’s tuition charge for the first semester of enrollment.

A 15% tuition fee refund for the subsequent regular semester will be granted to an ongoing full-time undergraduate student who maintains a minimum GPA of 3.60 out of 4.00 in a given semester with a minimum course load of 15 C/Hrs. All newly officially admitted students to postgraduate programs (Master degrees) who have demonstrated academic excellence in their undergraduate studies by earning a minimum cumulative grade average of 3.60 out of 4.00 or its equivalent are eligible for a tuition waiver of 20% of the registration fees for the first semester of enrollment.

A continuing full-time postgraduate student is entitled to a 15% tuition fee reimbursement for the normal semester in which they will enroll if they finish the semester with a minimum GPA of 3.70 out of 4.00 and a minimum course load of 9 C/Hrs.

Ph.D. Scholarship (All Nationalities)

UAEU intends to draw top-notch graduate students in specific majors with the “Ph.D. Scholarship” and provide them with full, continuous financial aid so they can pursue their graduate studies there.
A competitive method is used to determine the Ph.D. Scholarship Grants, taking into account the candidates’ academic history and qualifications (GPA, journal publications, conference presentations, patents, GRE scores, reference letters, etc.).

Qualifications and Fees

Requires a master’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.5/5.

Write a dissertation in one of the primary industries in the United Arab Emirates: renewable energy, transportation, health, water, technology, or space.

Qualifications and Fees

You have to be a graduate student at UAEU and enrolled full-time. A 3.0 or 4.0 GPA indicates that you must be in good academic standing. Possess no alternative funding sources. A stipend paid each month. The amount is determined by looking at the research grant budget.

Fellowships, Graduate Assistantships, and Scholarships by University of the United Arab Emirates

One of the top medical schools in the country, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), provides a variety of scholarships for foreign students studying there. These consist of graduate assistantships, fellowships, and scholarships. While graduate assistantships provide students with the chance to obtain both financial support and professional experience while completing their studies, scholarships and fellowships are intended to assist exceptional students who demonstrate academic merit and promise.

 

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Academic Excellence Scholarships

Abu Dhabi’s Sorbonne University Scholarships for Academic Excellence Significant prizes known as the Academic Excellence Scholarships are available from Sorbonne University. These scholarships are awarded to deserving international students who have demonstrated exceptional academic aptitude and promise.

The scholarships are intended to support students in their pursuit of a Sorbonne University education and to incentivize academic excellence. Qualifications and Sum New hires who meet the requirements below and have excellent high school grades are eligible. Starting in the second semester, they can apply for the 25%–75% Academic Excellence Scholarship Program. At government institutions, 90% are in the advanced stream and 95% are in the general stream. American system: a CGPA of 3.6 out of 4.0 and a minimum average of 90%. British system: a “B” grade or higher in six “O” level courses, in addition to a “A” grade or better in three “AS-Level” topics or a “A” in the comparable “A-Level” subjects. a SABIS average of at least 85%.

A minimum total score of 5 out of 7 is required for the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma; three of those topics must be at the upper level. a minimum French Baccalaureate score of 14 out of 20.
